We don't need no stinking patches!

What a great weekend! I know you're all dying for the recap, so I'll give the people what they want, except I didn't take a lot of pics, my bad!

Friday my Mom and I went to the market, then later we went shopping and I got myself a Fossil watch I've been dying to have. Is it not gorgeous? I can't stop looking at it and smiling!

Friday night Bri and I went to dinner at one of our favorite places, Aroogas. Wednesday through Friday from 5-7pm it's 50% off most appetizers, all draft beers, and most other alcoholic drinks. Check out our receipt, does it get any better (and cheaper) than that? I think not! Plus it's so yummy and they have trivia, which I won by the way!

Then while Bri got a haircut I went in Ulta and got talked into buying this Smashbox brow powder. Then we rented The Conjuring on Demand and oh MAN that was THE scariest movie I have EVER seen. I have been a fan of Lorraine Warren ever since I started watching Paranormal State in college, and man is she a BOSS! Once we were sufficiently scared, I had to put on a happy movie, so of course I put in Troop Beverly Hills, which is one of the best movies to come out of the 80s ("Annie Herman, boii--oiii---oinggg"). Seriously, if you haven't seen it, do yourself a favor and watch it, now. Props to Brian for being the best boyfriend ever (do people still say props anymore? I feel like I got that word from Clueless circa 1995.. wait, do people even say circa anymore? ahh!) and sticking through it, though I think he was actually watching hockey on his laptop.

By the way have you had these Mikes Hard Smashed Apple Ciders? So yummy!!

Saturday morning Brian had a flag football game down in Baltimore, but I stayed home to clean and make an apple pie.

Then Brian's parents came into town for the night and took us out to our favorite Italian restaurant. Here's a video of me at the restaurant:

Later that night they all watched the Devils game on TV. Sunday was pretty relaxing. We had breakfast with Brian's parents, then went over my parents' house to see my sister's new kitten (his name is Coby). He's 10 weeks old and way smaller than he looks here. He's adorable, playful, and super sweet!

Then Brian watched football while I read, and while Brian went to play in his hockey game I watched Mommie Dearest... Man, Joan Crawford had issues. I watched my Sunday night shows, Sunday night TV really is the best.

Other notables:

- The stinking neighbors had 3 cop cars show up to their house (again) on Saturday afternoon with some sort of warrant. Only the mother was home though, so they went in for about 15 minutes then left empty-handed. I'm sure you can guess what they are looking for...

- The fall colors are really at their peak right now in PA and it is so beautiful! I posted some pics from Friday on Instagram, but my iPhone pics really don't do it justice.

- My Mom got me this solar-powered turkey, how cute is he?! I have a solar-powered flower in my car, and this turkey is perfect on our kitchen windowsill.

- I'm participating in a giveaway with Jess at Living on Sweet Tea and some other great girls, check it out and win awesome stuff! The theme is preparing for the holidays :-)

  1. The watch is a beaut. "Beaut"...does anyone use that? Or is it kind of like "props?" Ha ha. Oh well, I like them both.

I want to watch The Conjuring, but I'm afraid I may not sleep again. Is it the kind of movie that keeps you from closing your eyes at night?

Hope your allergies get better soon! Those things are the devil.

Glad you had a great weekend!
