House Tour, Part 2

In Monday's post I shared pictures from the first floor and the backyard of our new house, and up today is the second floor and basement (or as Brian calls it, the man cave). Okay let's jump right in!

This is the guest bedroom. We liked the color that was already on the walls, and I think it looks good with the quilt. Actually, we didn't have to paint any rooms besides the master!

This is the guest bathroom. Yea, we need to paint it- that lime green color is not flattering on anyone's skin when they look in the mirror, but we are waiting until we have the time and money to redo both upstairs bathrooms (just new floors, mirrors, faucets, etc. Not a major overhaul). I tried to drown the color out a bit with the shower curtain and it actually made a difference. P.S. Like my toilet lid cover circa 1991?

This is the other spare bedroom, and obviously we are putting it to great use. We just really don't have a need for it right now, and we figure since it's already really cute we'll just leave it pink for now in case our first child is a girl (not for like 5+ years guys, calm down!). If we ever have a bunch of people staying over, we'll stick a lucky someone in here with an air mattress.

You've probably seen this picture before too, sorry! This is our master bedroom, and I really really like how it turned out. This was the only room we painted. We've since added a white bench under that picture on the right, so I should've taken a new picture, but I was too lazy to make the bed today #sorrynotsorry.

Our master bath. I finally get to have a vanity so I am pumped!

The basement/man cave. I don't spend a lot of time down here, but it's nice and cool and the carpet is so plush! haha

Towards the back there are two more rooms. The one you can see on the back left is where we intend to put a pool table eventually, but right now there's nothing in it besides Brian's little putting green thing, and a really nice closet. To the back right is our exercise room, which I need to use more, the staircase, and another closet (we have tons of storage space, which is awesome because we have tons of stuff haha).

Alright everyone, now that you've gotten the full tour, who wants to come visit? ;-) Oh and sorry I didn't post any pictures of the front of the house, I feel kinda weird sharing that (I know, I know..). Anyways, I probably won't post again until next week, so I hope everyone has a great 4th of July!

  7. I really love most of the colors, the green bathroom is a little much I agree. You should turn the pink room into your "blogging" room, if Bri can have a man cave you can have a blogging room. :)

  19. I love the cool solid colors of the rooms, especially the sea green and blues for both bedrooms. You even paired them with the perfect accents and decor, which made the rooms look really harmonious and pleasant. Also, that man cave looks uber cool. Thanks for sharing the awesome pictures. Cheers!
